COVID cases up 62 since Friday

Lambton Public Health reported 62 new lab confirmed cases of COVID-19 since Friday.

In its online update Monday, the health unit reported an average of 19 daily positive infections over the last week.

Since the start of the pandemic in March 2020, there have been 9,785 confirmed cases locally and 127 related deaths.

There are 11 COVID-positive patients at Bluewater Health, one of which is in intensive care.

Across Ontario, there are 279 patients in hospitals ICU's with COVID.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
