Ambulances and city police respond to incident at Suncor

Sarnia police and Lambton EMS were called to Suncor's Sarnia refinery at around 11 a.m. Tuesday.

In a notice shared by Community Awareness Emergency Response, Suncor said two contractors working at the site were attended to by paramedics.

The company said there was no impact to the community as a result of the event.

Sarnia police and two ambulances responded as part of the municipal tiered response system.

Out of respect for the individuals and their privacy, Suncor said no additional details will be provided.

The Ministry of Labour confirmed to Sarnia News Today that it was not contacted in regards to the event.
