A boat fire at Bridgeview Marina - Mar 12/22 (Photo courtesy of Pt Edward Fire)Point Edward Fire and Rescue says a boat sank at Bridgeview Marina on Saturday evening after catching fire.
Crews from Point Edward and Sarnia Fire and Rescue responded to the end of Exmouth Street and found the boat fully engulfed in flames. The fire had also spread to a nearby sailboat.
The sailboat also sustained significant damage, but no dollar estimates are available at this time.
One occupant was taken to hospital, treated and released.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
