Virtual talk on Irish immigration planned

The Lambton Heritage Museum is hosting a virtual talk on Irish immigration Tuesday.

"More Than Just Luck – Legacies of Irish Immigrants" is planned at 7 p.m.

The event is being held in advance of St. Patrick's Day celebrations Thursday.

Curator/Supervisor Dana Thorne said Irish immigrants played an influential role in our local heritage.

“We are lucky enough to have artifacts in our collection from Irish immigrants and it’s always a joy sharing these local stories with the community,” said Thorne.

The curatorial team from Lambton Heritage Museum will also share the contributions of Irish immigrants in Lambton County.

Virtual talks are free and pre-registration is required. Click here to register.
