Sarnia youth centre hit by graffiti, police investigating

Sarnia police are looking for those responsible for a whole lot of graffiti at the Cox Youth Centre.

Police said it happened over last several days at the site in Tecumseh Park. It appears that the two most obvious tags are “SMRT” and “AOF KREW".

Police said city staff will be cleaning the graffiti up in hope of removing the eyesore as soon as possible. Pictures provided by police show multiple surfaces, including doors, playground equipment and electrical boxes, spray-painted at the site.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
