Deadline approaching for United Way fundraiser

Time is running out to place your order for the United Way's spring fundraiser.

The local organization is selling pre-made frozen meals prepared by the Dante Club, just in time for Easter.

Frozen meals ranging from $17 to $59 dollars include lasagna, mac and cheese with ham or chicken pot pie.

Money raised will benefit 30 local funded programs including Meals on Wheels, the Salvation Army's Rent/Utility Assistance and the YMCA Resource Houses.

Online orders must be placed by Friday, March 25 with pick up scheduled for March 31.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
