Police seek witnesses to collision involving pedestrian

Sarnia police are appealing for witnesses in a collision Thursday morning involving a pedestrian.

Police said a person was struck by a vehicle just after 6 a.m. on Colborne Road, north of Guthrie Drive.

One person was taken to hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries. The driver of the vehicle was not hurt.

The Sarnia Police Traffic Unit is investigating and is hoping someone may have witnessed the crash or had noticed a male, 6' 2", with long hair, in the area just prior to it happening.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
