Rotary to host 'blow out' book sale this weekend

The Rotary Club of Sarnia Bluewaterland is hosting what it calls a "blow out sale" of used books this weekend.

The sale is being held in the former Peoples jewellery store at Lambton Mall, by Marshalls, Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Committee member Dale Wilcox said they received another 1,200 books since the last sale, so there will be more new books to check out.

"We have added two hours (of shopping) on Friday and Saturday to allow more folks to attend, and Sunday is our last day and the usual big bag day sale," said Wilcox. "You can bring a shopping bag and fill it for $10, as many hardcovers and paperbacks as you can jam into the bag."

Wilcox said if you are looking for summer reading material, the pop-up sale has the best prices and largest selection of used books in the area.
