UPDATE: Weather advisory lifted for north and east Lambton

Environment Canada has lifted its winter weather travel weather advisory for north and east Lambton.

Snow, heavy at times, was expected to begin Saturday evening with local accumulations of 10 to 20 centimetres by Monday.

The national weather agency said northwesterly winds gusting up to 60 km/h, causing significantly reduced visibility at times in blowing snow were also likely.

Lake effect bands may temporarily move out of the area Sunday afternoon before returning in the evening or overnight.
