Police seek suspect in unprovoked bowling alley attack

A 37-year-old Walpole Island woman is wanted for what police allege was an unprovoked attack at a Sarnia bowling alley that sent one person to hospital.

Sarnia police said at around 10 p.m. Tuesday, March 22, the suspect was yelling at a group of friends for an unknown reason, which the group chose to ignore.

Later, the woman charged towards a female in the group and struck her in the head, causing the victim to hit a nearby wall and sustain injuries.

Police said the altercation was immediately broken up by those present and that the accused then left the building along with other parties.

The victim was taken to hospital for assessment and then released.

The suspect, Danielle Morning Williams, is currently wanted on an outstanding warrant for one count of assault and one count of assault causing bodily harm.
