Traffic unit investigating single-vehicle crash

One person was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries in a crash late Saturday night.

Sarnia police, and Lambton EMS responded to a single vehicle crash at about 11:30 p.m. in the area of Confederation Street and Indian Road.

A male driver was transported to Bluewater Health for treatment.

The Sarnia police traffic unit is investigating to determine how a vehicle ended up behind the Nissan Dealership on Confederation Street.

Indian Road between Plank Road and Confederation Street was closed to traffic until 8:30 a.m. Sunday.

Anyone who may have witnessed the collision is asked to contact the Sarnia Police Service.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
