Impaired driving charges laid in collision

A 28-year-Sarnia woman accused of driving while intoxicated has been charged following a collision on Highway 402 that sent three people to hospital.

Lambton OPP said a two-vehicle collision was reported on the highway in Plympton-Wyoming on April 2 at 1 p.m.

Three people suffered minor injuries.

A driver was arrested following a roadside test.

She was charged with operation while impaired and operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).

The accused was released from police custody with a future court date.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
