Lambton Public Health is looking for information about a dog and its owner after a teen was bitten on Saturday morning.

The health unit said the incident happened at around 10:45 a.m., at the pond located on the property of the Huron House Boys’ Home in Bright’s Grove.

The dog is described as medium size, brown and black in colour with a slightly grey muzzle.

The owner, a female wearing a pink hooded sweater and brown pants, was walking the dog alone.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Lambton Public Health at 519-383-8331 ext. 3580 or toll-free at 1-800-667-1839.

If the dog is not located and the health status of the animal verified, the victim will need to receive post exposure rabies shots.
