Environment Canada issued a special weather statement for Sarnia-Lambton, Chatham-Kent, London-Middlesex, Windsor-Essex, and Elgin County Monday afternoon.
The advisory was lifted shortly after 6 p.m.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
