Lambton OPP closed the roadway between Bentpath Line and Wilkesport Line in Sombra around 8:20 a.m. The area reopened to traffic around 10 a.m.
Police said charges have not been laid at this time but the investigation is ongoing.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
