Police looking for man connected to weekend break and enters

Sarnia police are looking for a person of interest connected to several break and enter investigations which occurred over the Victoria Day long weekend.

Police said homes in the area of Lakeshore Road, Cathcart Boulevard and Murphy Road were all broken into within a fairly close proximity and time of each other.

Police said the description of the incidents and the items taken were very similar in all three cases.

It is also believed that the break and enters may be related to a similar incident that took place in Point Edward.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
