Man arrested in parking lot murder of man in Enniskillen Township

Provincial police in Lambton County have confirmed the arrest of a Sarnia man accused of killing another man in Enniskillen Township last month.

The homicide investigation was launched on April 14 after Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a deceased individual in a rural parking lot on Marthaville Road. The victim was later identified as 45-year-old Andrew Chute of Sarnia.

From the beginning of the investigation, police officials believed the murder was targeted. Police say Chute died after suffering a gunshot wound.

Early Thursday evening, investigators announced a 43-year-old Sarnia man was arrested and charged on April 29.

The accused, identified as Jason Nahmabin is charged with one count of first-degree murder. He made his first court appearance on April 30.
