Sting to host Saginaw in first home game of 2022-23 OHL season

The Ontario Hockey League has released the dates of the home openers for all 20 clubs ahead of the 2022-23 season.

The Sarnia Sting will kick off their home schedule at Progressive Auto Sales Arena on Friday, October 7 against the Saginaw Spirit.

Sarnia will also provide the opposition for Kitchener's home opener on Friday, September 30 and are scheduled to be in Windsor the following night.

The 680-game OHL regular season opens on Thursday, September 29 with games in Niagara, Peterborough, and Barrie.

The entire regular season schedule will be released on Thursday, June 16 at 3 p.m.
