Full OHL 2022-23 schedule released

The Sarnia Sting will swarm the ice during the 2022-23 regular season, beginning in Kitchener at the end of September.

The Ontario Hockey League (OHL) released its full regular season schedule on Thursday.

Sarnia's first game will be against the Rangers on September 30.

The Sting will return to "the Hive" at Progressive Auto Sales Arena on October 7 for their home opener against the Saginaw Spirit.

Long road trips will return with the upcoming season. The Sting will make their first trip to the Eastern Conference, since the 2019-20 season, on October 16 to face the Mississauga Steelheads.

The full 68-game calendar features home and away games against all 19 OHL clubs.

Some highlights from the schedule include 27 home games, as well as home-and-home battles over the winter months against Flint and London.

The Sarnia Sting will welcome the 2022 Western Conference Champion Windsor Spitfires to the Hive on October 14. Meanwhile, the OHL Champion Hamilton Bulldogs will make their trip to Sarnia on March 15.

Regular season single-game tickets for the 2022-23 season will go on sale at 10 a.m. on August 9. The early bird deadline is set for July 1.

Sting games will be broadcast live on CHOK 1070 AM/ 103.9 FM.
