RibFest returns to Centennial Park

The smell of barbeque ribs will linger through Centennial Park this weekend as the Sarnia Kinsmen Club hosts its 23rd annual RibFest.

The 'saucy' event was held drive-thru style at Lambton College last year and was cancelled in 2020.

Event Chair Jack Struck had previously told Sarnia News Today that he was excited for the in-person event to return.

This year's event will support several local charities and initiatives, including the Inn of the Good Shepherd, Salvation Army, Kidney Foundation, Boy Scouts, and Air Cadets.

Four professional rib teams, 10 bands, and additional food vendors will be at the park Friday and Saturday night, as well as Sunday afternoon.
