Daily COVID case count trending lower

Lambton Public Health reported less than two dozen new cases of COVID-19 in the last week.

In its update Wednesday, the health unit reported 21 new lab confirmed infections since its last update.

Since the start of the pandemic, there have been 11,975 cases locally and 146 related deaths.

The daily average number of cases over the last seven days has dropped to three.

There is one COVID-positive patient at Bluewater Health.
