Graham Hill wins SG&CC Men's Invitational

After a first round score of 71, Graham Hill of Sarnia followed up with an incredible round of 66 to claim the victory at the Sarnia Golf and Curling Club's Men's Invitational with a two-round total of 7-under par 137.

This marks the 8th time that Graham has won this event.

Runner-up was Sarnia’s Steve Brown, who shot scores of 68-73,  for a 141 total.

Andrew Dagneau of Clear Ridge was third at 145 followed by Sarnia's  Ethan O'Meara at 147 and David St. Germain of Golf Canada at 149.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
