Standoff in Wyoming ends peacefully

Several Lambton OPP cruisers surrounded a house on the corner of Broadway and Erie streets late Saturday night in Wyoming.

A man was barricaded inside before being taken into custody after a five hour standoff.

Broadway Street between Ontario and Huron streets were closed for four hours while police dealt with the situation.

Wyoming firefighters were also on the scene evacuating people in the area.

No other details are available at this time.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
