Ministry of Labour investigating fatal workplace incident

Ontario's Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development is investigating a fatal workplace incident that happened on Friday, June 24 in Sarnia.

It was reported that a worker at ReVital Polymers Inc. on Lougar Avenue sustained crush injuries from a piece of machinery.

The worker sadly succumbed to their injuries on June 28.

Six orders and one requirement have been issued to the employer. The ministry has not provided further details on the orders.

The investigation is ongoing.
