Bluewater Health moves toward pre-pandemic practices

Bluewater Health is phasing out some services and moving towards pre-pandemic practices.

The hospital announced Wednesday that one of the changes will be to discontinue portering services (the moving of patients from one unit to another). The change will begin in July.

Patients who require assistance are encouraged to bring along a "plus one" to their appointment.

As a result, seating will be increased in the hospital's waiting areas.

COVID screening upon entering the hospital will continue.
