Kettle & Stony Point hosts annual Pow Wow

The Chippewas of Kettle and Stony Point First Nation will celebrate its 50th annual Pow Wow this weekend.

Gates will open at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Pow Wow Grounds, located at 9216 Lake Rd.

Admission is $8 for adults and $5 for youth between the ages of six and 12.

Events will be held both Saturday and Sunday.

The final day of the Pow Wow will include a baby contest, starting at 11 a.m. Sunday.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
