Sarnia hosts new PrideFest

The first three-day PrideFest to take place in Sarnia kicks off on Friday.

Diversity Ed announced the new event earlier this year as a way to promote diversity and inclusivity.

PrideFest events will be held from Friday through to Sunday. Local food and market vendors will also be set up at Centennial Park.

Although many events throughout the weekend will be free to attend there are some shows where tickets are required. Tickets for Friday night and Saturday night shows at the Suncor Agora can be purchased online.

The festival will conclude with a free Drag Queen Story Time on Sunday at the Suncor Agora, sponsored by The Book Keeper. Further details about this weekend can be found on Diversity Ed's website.
