A former Sarnia boxer, found guilty of sex-related charges, has been sentenced to 30 months in prison.
Superior Court Justice Kirk Munroe delivered the decision to Blake Loxton during a hearing at the Sarnia courthouse on Thursday.
The 30-year-old Loxton was credited with six-and-a-half months of pre-sentence custody, and was thereby sentenced to 23 months and 15 days followed by a 24 month term of probation.
Loxton was found guilty of sexual interference and sexual assault charges involving an intoxicated girl under the age of 16, in November of 2021.
In March, a bench warrant was issued for Loxton after he failed to appear in court for his sentencing hearing.
