UPDATE: System outage at border crossings resolved

The Canada Border Services Agency says a system outage impacting the Canada-U.S. border, including at the Blue Water Bridge, has been resolved.

In an email, the CBSA said Livingston International experienced a system outage that was preventing them from providing critical advanced information required by the CBSA for the purpose of clearing commercial imports.

The issue has since been fixed, and CBSA said it was working with its partners at the U.S. CBP, bridge commission, the trucking community and the client to clear the resulting backlog of trucks seeking entry into Canada.

The CBSA thanks the trucking community for its patience while the commercial clearance is coming back to normal.
