Seaway Kiwanis supports local groups

The Seaway Kiwanis Club has donated a total of $12,000 to a couple of local initiatives.

The Aamjiwnaang Athletic Club recently received a donation of $7,000, and the Opening Doors program at North Lambton Community Health Centre received $5,000.

Funds dedicated to the mental health program were raised through Seaway Kiwanis TV Bingo.

All funds raised on Seaway Kiwanis TV Bingo are donated back to the community through the Kiwanis Children's Animal Farm and other local charitable organizations.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
