Environment Canada issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Sarnia-Lambton at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday.
As of 7:30 p.m., the warning for Watford, Pinery Park, and Eastern Lambton ended.
Meteorologists tracking the storm said it's capable of producing heavy rain and possible flash flooding. The weather agency also warns that alongside lightning and hail severe thunderstorms can also produce tornadoes.
A funnel cloud was spotted north of Wyoming at approximately 6 p.m.
The Office of the Fire Marshal and Emergency Management recommends that people take cover immediately if threatening weather approaches.
