Sarnia realtor's homicide remains unsolved after 34 years

The family of a Sarnia real estate agent, whose murder 34-years-ago remains unsolved, is still hopeful for a breakthrough in the case.

Morag Davies was last seen by a visiting co-worker on the night of August 23, 1988.

When she failed to show up at work, co-workers returned to her Retlaw Drive home on August 25 and found the 45-year-old dead of multiple stab wounds in her bedroom. The murder weapon was never recovered and her killer has never been identified.

Sarnia-Lambton Crime Stoppers continues to ask for help in solving the homicide.

The organization said Sarnia police have pursued numerous leads over the years, but none have yielded evidence against the killer.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
