Annual toy run marks 40 years

A local motorcycle club is appealing to the public for donations of toys.

The Lady Luck Riders are holding their 40th annual Toy Run Sunday in Support of St. Clair Child and Youth.

Club president Mike Beauchamp said donations of new, unwrapped toys can be dropped off beginning at 12 p.m. at Waterfront Park in Point Edward, by the Blue Water Bridge.

"Board games for the older children, gift cards, gifts for all ages," said Beauchamp.

He said it's a special event for the motorcycle club, which is also celebrating its 70th anniversary.

Donations can also be dropped off at the clubhouse on 3014 Michigan Line.

Further details are posted on the Lady Luck Riders Facebook Page.
