Turnaround underway at Cabot Canada

A shutdown was planned to begin at Cabot Canada Monday.

In a notice from the Bluewater Association for Safety, Environment and Sustainability (BASES), the Tashmoo Avenue facility said the turnaround is to allow for scheduled maintenance at the site.

Area residents may notice increased noise, venting and traffic around the facility while work is completed.

The site-wide shutdown is scheduled to wrap up on Wednesday, September 21.
