Mischief reports lead to arrest of Alvinston man

Charges have been laid against a suspicious person who was believed to be damaging vehicles at a business in Point Edward.

Lambton OPP were contacted about the incident at a business on Helena Street at around 8 p.m. on September 25. Similar incidents were also reported at the location days before, on September 23 and 24.

A 49-year-old Alvinston man was arrested and charged with three counts of mischief.

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date.

OPP are thanking members of the public for help in reporting the incident.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
