Police investigate alleged incident involving student

Sarnia police are investigating an alleged incident involving a suspicious man and a high school student.

Police said a man in a vehicle approached a girl who was walking to school Wednesday morning, between 9 a.m. and 9:20 a.m.

The "unwanted interaction" happened in the area of The Rapids Parkway between Michigan Avenue and Berger Road.

The vehicle was described as being similar to a white Dodge Challenger with tinted windows.

Officers are looking to speak with any witnesses or individuals who may have video surveillance in the area.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
