Sarnia police search Roger St. for missing woman

A search is underway in a Sarnia neighbourhood for a missing 47-year-old woman.

Sarnia police said there will be officers in the 700 block of Roger Street, just east of Indian Road between Exmouth Street and Maxwell Street, in connection to the investigation.

Christine Adamson was last seen Saturday, October 1, in that area.

Police said Thursday the Criminal Investigation Branch took over the case, as they were concerned for her welfare after she was reported missing Wednesday night.

Adamson is described as being approximately 4’ 10”, weighing approximately 129 pounds, with short spiky hair and hazel eyes. She has a large tattoo on her chest, tribal tattoos on both of her arms, tattoos on her fingers, and a flower tattoo behind one of her ears.

Anyone with information regarding Adamson’s whereabouts is asked to call city police at 519-344-8861 extension 0.

Police said an update on the investigation would be provided later in the day Friday.
