Few units still available at Bayfront Apartments

All of the one-bedroom apartments at Sarnia's newest downtown high-rise have been leased out with first occupancies expected to start as early as December 1.

Construction at Tricar's "The Bayfront Premier Apartments" began in 2020.

The 15 storey high-rise is located on Front Street North.

"Concrete construction is finished to the roof. Interior suites are complete on the lower floors and we are expecting first occupancy for the beginning of December," said Marketing and Media Manager Jen Grozelle. "Suites that are still available are now beginning occupancy in March 2023."

Grozelle said over 80 per cent of the apartment units are leased. However, there are still some suites available, including waterfront units.

"The response has certainly been overwhelming and I would say it exceeded our expectations. The demand and the interest has been incredible at this location."

The apartments are for lease and none are available for purchase.

"Our starting two-bed price is $2,800 per month leasing," she said. "One bedrooms are all fully leased."
