Extensive damage, minor injuries in three-vehicle crash

Minor injuries are reported in a multi-vehicle crash near Port Lambton over the weekend.

On Sunday, Lambton OPP, St. Clair Township Fire and Lambton EMS responded to the three-vehicle collision on Highway 40 near Lambton Line at around 12:15 p.m.

Police said one of the vehicles involved was a combine. Due to the extent of debris from the crash, roads in the area were closed for about four hours while the scene was cleared.

A 38-year-old driver from Point Edward has been charged with careless driving.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
