Medical incident leads to crash

No injuries were reported after a vehicle crashed into the bleachers at Norm Perry Park.

Sarnia police said just before 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, a vehicle travelling eastbound on Exmouth Street left the road, went through the fence at the park and slammed into the bleachers.

Police said no other vehicles were involved in the collision, which was the result of a medical condition.

The 33-year-old male driver was taken to hospital. He's been charged with driving while under suspension.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
