Trunk or treaters invited to Hiawatha Horse Park

Truckloads of candy will be up for grabs at Hiawatha Horse Park this Saturday.

Sarnia Street Cruisers second annual Trunk or Treat event goes October 29 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Organizers will be decorating there cars, putting on costumes and welcoming trick or treaters 12 and under to come collect candy.

This year's event will feature the Joker monster truck, Star Wars characters, and some of the scariest Halloween villains, including Freddy Krueger, Michael Myers and Pennywise.

Over 100 local businesses are taking part in the initiative. Last year's event was held at Canatara Park.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
