Local business donates to Noelle's Gift

Southwest Regional Credit Union has donated $10,000 to Noelle's Gift.

The non-profit organization supports children within Lambton-Kent, and was established in 2013 as a way to honour former teacher Noelle Paquette.

"Southwest Regional Credit Union is proud to support this amazing organization with a donation of $10,000 to support Noelle’s Gift in their commitment to improving the lives of children in our community," read a Facebook post.

Meanwhile, Noelle's Gift vehicle and cash lottery is currently underway. The first prize draw for $5,000 and the grand prize draw for the Ford Bronco Sport will be held in December.

Teraze Gray won the first early bird prize of $500 on October 11 and Vince Savo won the second early bird draw on November 11.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
