UPDATE: Travel conditions expected to deteriorate

A winter weather travel advisor for north and east Lambton ended early Thursday morning.

Environment Canada issued the statement Wednesday, advising of local snowfall amounts of five to 15 centimetres, resulting in slippery road conditions and reduced visibility.

We're reminded to adjust our driving to the changing conditions, slow down and watch for tail lights ahead.

A winter weather travel advisory remained in effect for London-Middlesex early Thursday morning.
