A 28-year-old Sarnia woman accused of not complying with a court order is also facing drug trafficking charges after she was allegedly found with over $12,000 worth of drugs.
Sarnia police said an officer on general patrol stopped a cyclist at around 3:21 a.m. on November 15. The accused was wanted on an outstanding warrant in another jurisdiction and was under court orders to stay home between the hours of 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.
During a search, police seized 84.5 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 29.9 grams of fentanyl, and nine milligrams of hydromorphone. The estimated street value of the drugs was $12,760.
Police said Amber-Lynn Marie White was charged with two counts of possession of a Schedule I Substance for the purpose of trafficking, one count of possession of a Schedule I Substance, and one count of failing to comply with a court order.
Charges against the accused have not been proven in court. White remains in custody pending a bail hearing.
