Windsor murder suspect may be hiding in another city

Windsor police believe a man wanted for the murder of Daniel Squalls may be hiding in one of several Ontario cities.

Malique Calloo, 26, is wanted for the first-degree murder of Squalls, who was shot and killed on Hanna Street in Windsor on November 28, 2022.

The Major Crimes Unit has received a number of tips about Calloo's location. They believe he may be hiding with family or friends in Chatham, Sarnia, London, Hamilton, the Niagara region, or the Greater Toronto Area.

“We strongly urge anyone in these cities with any information about Malique Calloo to come forward and help us provide closure and justice for the victim’s family,” said Staff Sergeant Joe Faddoul of the Major Crimes Unit.

Calloo is a Black man with short black hair and brown eyes. He is 6'3" tall and weighs 245 lbs. Police say he should be considered armed and dangerous.
