London Knights edge Sting 4-3

The Sarnia Sting fell to the London Knights 4-3 in a shootout on Friday night at Budweiser Gardens.

Nolan Burke scored two goals and Sanidis Vilmanis scored the other.

Vilmanis scored the first goal during the first period.

Burke scored twice during the second period.

 

The Sarnia Sting are traveling to Saginaw Saturday to play the Spirit. Coverage on CHOK (103.9 FM/1070 AM) begins at 6:30 p.m.

The puck drop is set for 7 p.m.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
