Two charged following industrial break and enter

Two Sarnia men are charged in connection with an industrial break and enter early Sunday morning.

Sarnia police were called just before 6:30 a.m. to a business yard in the area of Confederation and Phillip streets.

Officers arrived to find a hole cut in the fence, and two men in a storage trailer in the yard.

Police allege one man surrendered while another fled on foot.

During a search of the property, officers located several other holes cut in the chain link fences and the second suspect was also located and arrested.

Police said officers recovered stolen property along with break and enter tools.

Two men, aged 21 and 23, face numerous break and enter and mischief related charges.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
