Fire sparks at Twin Creeks Landfill

Ontario's Ministry of the Environment and the Spills Action Centre have been notified of a fire that sparked over the weekend at a landfill in Watford.

Firefighters from Watford and Warwick stations were called to Twin Creeks Landfill Sunday morning.

According to a Facebook post, the fire was brought under control quickly, with assistance from Brooke Fire Rescue.

The social media post did not specify what caused the blaze.
