The S.S. Keewatin passed beneath the Blue Water Bridge just after 11:30 a.m.

It was built in 1907 in Scotland and is one of the last Edwardian era passenger steamers left in the world.

The museum ship departed from Port McNicoll Monday afternoon, and is on its way to Hamilton for repairs.

After repairs are complete, the 300 foot steamer will make its way to the Marine Museum of the Great Lakes in Kingston.

Midland, Ontario Mayor Bill Gordon was among those who attended the ship's farewell tour earlier this week.

He shared images of the interior of the ship in a social media post.
