Gateway casino locations in Sarnia, Pt. Edward set to reopen

Gateway Casino locations in Point Edward and Sarnia will reopen to the public as of 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Both slots and table games will be available for the public to enjoy.

It's part of the company's phased approach to reopening sites after a cyber attack shut them down across the province on April 16.

Gateway said Match Eatery and Public House in Point Edward will also be open Wednesday, but it will have a limited menu available for the evening.

Gaming facilities are also back up and running in London, Chatham, Innisfil, Woodstock, Clinton, Wasaga Beach, and Hanover.

Gateway expects to open additional sites in the coming days.

The company previously stated that none of its customers’ personal data appeared to have been compromised in the breach, but it was “notifying relevant privacy officials and gaming regulators” of the incident.
